We have an immediate opening for our CNC service technician position
As the CNC Service technician, you will be involved in the troubleshooting and repair of machinery our acquisition team has purchased. The majority of work will be related to fixing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components on both CNC and manual machinery. Some examples of equipment you would be working on are CNC vertical machining centers, CNC lathes, CNC Plasmas, CNC lasers, lathes, milling machines, press brakes, saws, shears, welders, ironworkers, and presses. The majority of work will be done on-site at our facility in Decatur, GA. Occasionally there will be times you will need to travel to work on equipment with issues that are still covered under our warranty. If you enjoy complex challenges and a wide variety of projects this job is the perfect job for you. Between the massive variance in brands and types of machinery, no day is ever the same.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working on machinery.
- 2+ years of experience working on CNC controls and CNC machinery.
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Passion for customer service
- Neat and professional attitude
- Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics; ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other business programs, as required
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job
