Press brakes or brake presses are machines used for bending sheet metal to form bent-shaped parts. All press brakes are designed to hold tooling within their top and bottom rams to make these uniquely shaped bends. When the ram movement is actuated and the top or bottom ram’s tooling exceeds each other’s edge planes a bend will start to occur. The desired bend shape and or bend angle is dependent upon the type of tooling and how far the tooling travels into each other. We sell a wide variety of used press brakes from such makers as Accurpress, Cincinnati, and Amada.
