Roll formers are used for shaping or profiling sheet metal through a continuous bending operation. Roll formers are typically combined with a feeder or uncoiler to quickly feed coiled metal allowing fast production of parts. These machines work by forcing the unformed metal through a series of rolls. Tooling is installed on each roll in a unique position to assist in the formation of the desired part.
